Seedvern was founded in George Town, Penang, by a group of educators and business practitioners who kept encountering the same challenge: talented founders with viable ideas who struggled to articulate the financial shape of their business — not because they lacked effort, but because they had never been shown a practical framework to do so.
The team spent time observing how early-stage founders in Malaysia approached cost planning, revenue understanding, and record preparation. What they found was a gap — not in ambition, but in accessible, structured learning that was relevant to the Malaysian small-business context.
Seedvern was built to fill that gap. Each program is designed around a clear framework, practical templates, and a tone that is calm and informative — not pressured or prescriptive. We focus on operational education: helping founders understand their own numbers so they can have more productive conversations with their accountants, advisers, and partners.

Hui Ying leads curriculum development at Seedvern. She spent eight years in SME business consulting before moving into education, and brings a clear-headed approach to translating complex finance concepts into structured learning modules.
